You cant have an educational section about wood and not bring up color! Choosing color is a huge step you will have to take when you begin your next project. Even if you have us make you a beautiful bow box you will still have to settle on a color. Thanks be to the good Lord we have a lot and I mean A LOT of choices when it comes to wood species and colors. Some of the woods that I can think of when we are talking about color are Osage Orange (Orange), Purple heart (Purple), Wenge (Black), and Padauk (Red).
